The main difference is that it's not commonly done with hands-on with certain positioning (there are usually less positions or focusing on specific areas)

If you're not touching my animal how is it helping?

The energy is received whether or not I'm touching them. The energy knows where to go, what to do. Sometimes the animal will guide me to a certain area.

What is a healing reaction?

A healing reaction is a release of toxins in the body. If your animal seems to be worse after a Reiki session, this is the cause. It can also happen emotionally, where your animal's behavioural problems get worse. But these are only temporary. You'll see signs of recovery not long after.

How often should my animal be seen?

New clients - It's best to be seen for 4 sessions, if possible.

Serious or chronic conditions - One or more per week.

Small problems - Once a week until it resolves

Surgery - Once a day for 3-5 days after surgery and then once a day for about a week after surgery.

Dying animals - One or more shortened treatments per day
